– We seek to maintain and enhance the distinctive and picturesque environment of Lexington and Fayette County, through environmental education, awareness, and stewardship programs. The Comission presents annual awards to individuals, organizations, and companies for outstanding environmental stewardship, and advises the LFUCG Council, Planning Commission, Board of Adjustment, Bulding Inspector and others as needed.
