– Floracliff Nature Sanctuary is a 287-acre nature preserve in southern Fayette County. It is organized as a non-profit private foundation and managed by an independent board of directors in conjunction with the Kentucky State Nature Preserves Commission. Although the sanctuary is open by appointment only, it offers a variety of walks, volunteer events, research opportunities and hands-on workshops to interested individuals and groups.
