– Bernheim's Visitor Center is an outstanding example of green living. In December 2007, it became the first building in a six-state area to receive the top award from the USGBC: LEED Platinum. Bernheim also promotes green living through our 14,000 acre nature preserve containing a 250 acre arboretum where people can connect with nature through their own personal experiences or through the many public programs available throughout the year.
